Double bit Norse hip axe crafted from 1/4″ 8670. Impact striking features centered on the head and exposed at the heel. Hand filed head with raw worn face.
Scales are 1/4 sawn white oak salvaged from a seating bench I created for the National 9/11 Memorial Museum in 2012. They are secured with carbon fiber pins and chain ring bolts.
