Norse inspired hip axe gifted to a good friend on the eve of vow renewals between him and his bride. Crafted from 1/4″ Nitro-V. 18.5″ OAL with a head width of 7.5″ and a head height of 7″ to the tip of the beard. Hand-filed ‘chiseled stone’ head, hooked hammer and exposed striking pommel. Finished in worn tungsten cerakote overlaid with mottled burnt bronze cerakote enabling a well aged appearance. Custom Norse engraving throughout care of Valkyrie Arms. Scales are American Ash personally harvested and milled in 2009 from the family farm secured with carbon fiber pins, a cherry red G10 pin and chain ring bolts. Finished in heavily distressed ebony.
