Single-hand axe crafted from super burly 3/8″ 80CrV2. Measuring 13.75″ OAL with a 6.5″ wide head and a 4.25″ bearded cutting edge. Hand-filed ‘chiseled stone’ head accents this beautiful piece finished in a smokey grey patina.
Scales are bookmatched black walnut I personally harvested from my family’s 5th generation farm secured with Gulso Bolts and carbon fiber pins. They’ve been finished subtly with multiple coats of hand rubbed linseed oil.
