Full-size axe based on my client’s son’s favorite character. This axe is the epitome of the word BEAST.
Crafted from 3/8″ 80CrV2 it measures 36.5″ OAL with an 11.25″ main cutting beard. The secondary cutting edge is 4″ with a total head width of 12″. Total weight is a burly 12 lbs.
It has a hand-filed “chiseled stone” head, beard, and exposed chamfered handle pommel. The entire axe has been finished in a custom Battle Burnished cerakote with personalized engravings.
Handles are 150+ year old Black Walnut I harvested from my family’s 5th generation family farm nearly 20 years ago. They are secured with 5 chain ring bolts, 5 carbon fiber tubes, and 7 carbon fiber pins.
