AW&K was privileged to have the opportunity to exhibit some new custom lines of handmade blades in Atlanta at Bladeshow 2018! It was quite the experience from start to finish and in the end it was a wonderful time!!
Exposure was incredible as 15,000-20,000 people wandered the tables taking in some of the best knifemaking on earth. Feedback was awesome as so many had never seen designs such that were on display on my table. It was also an overwhelming response that the handle design and shaping lent to a comfort level most had never experienced.
I was often asked if these blades were produced by machines and I am proud to say that my designs are crafted entirely by my own two hands. I would have loved to have sold the entire table but on another positive note AW&K returned with a few lines of high-end custom edged tools that are available as inventory for the very first time!!!
